ABOUT LYF

LYF Magazine, an acronym for the Les Yeux Fertiles, is a high-end publication focused on innovative and independent eyewear design. Founded in 2009 by Cristina Frasca, who is the publisher and editor-in-chief, LYF is released twice a year, coinciding with major industry events such as MIDO in Milan and SILMO in Paris. It is not just a magazine, but a pathway, an evolving laboratory, a nonchalant dialogue in which different personalities come together, telling their stories and each contributing their own individual poetry.

Each issue of LYF explores a central theme through visual artistry, drawing attention to the most cutting-edge trends in the eyewear world. From the cover to the photo shoots, the pages feature designers who have transformed the way we see the world, harmoniously coexisting with various styles and languages. The deep passion with which each edition is designed and created, along with the attention to graphics and the choice of paper, makes every issue an unexpected revelation, rendering LYF a unique project with guiding principles but no rigid boundaries to adhere to.
